Overview

This privacy policy explains what information the Stockton Heath app ("the app") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Stockton Heath is a local community app for Stockton Heath, Warrington, UK.

Information We Collect

Push notification token. If you enable notifications, your device registers with Apple's Push Notification service (APNs) so we can send you local alerts. The resulting device token is stored so we can deliver these notifications, and is not shared with any third party beyond Apple, who deliver the notification to your device.

Information stored only on your device. If you enter a first name and address in the app (for example, to personalise local information), this is stored in local storage on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and we have no access to it. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it.

Support form submissions. If you contact us through the support page, the name, email address, subject and message you provide are sent to our inbox using Web3Forms, a third-party form delivery service, so that we can reply to you.

How We Use Information

We do not sell your information, and we do not use analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs in the app.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, which process data on our behalf as described above:

Data Retention & Deletion

Push tokens are retained for as long as notifications remain enabled, and are removed if you disable notifications, uninstall the app, or ask us to delete them. Data you enter locally (name and address) never leaves your device and is under your control at all times. You can ask us to delete any data we hold by emailing us at the address below.

Children's Privacy

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK/EU GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
